Mode of action:
Protectant (in Botrytis) and both protective and curative action (in Venturia).
Proposed inhibitor of methionine biosynthesis, leading to inhibition of the secretion of enzymes necessary for infection.

Application:
Pyrimethanil is a pyrimidine fungicide with leaf penetration and root absorption activity.  
It has excellent control effect on:
grape, strawberry, tomato, onion, bean, cucumber, eggplant and ornamental plants. 
apple black odor.
gray mold  (Botrytis cinerea)of cucumber, tomato, grape, strawberry, pea, leek and other crops,
leaf and fruit scab , leaf spot  on pome fruit.
